Seeing with the Heart
by Celso González               $12,000

Seeing with the heart,

being able to paint images in our imagination

with every verse,

every sound,

the ability to take us on a journey

to the infinite,

through vibrations

without leaving the space

we are in.

Stevie has been teaching us to see with our heart and in his reflection we see ourselves and the million pieces that surround us.  The blue portrait symbolizes the pure soul surrounded by his aura of reflection where we can see many sides of us. We step into his universe in the superficial you can see the imperfections of the flesh but in the heart the vision is clear.

Audio enhanced for the visually impaired. Coming Soon.

About the Artist

Born in Puerto Rico, Celso is a pioneering contemporary artist whose work stands
out in various disciplines such as painting, sculpture, murals, mosaics, architecture, and film. He started painting at the age of 8 under the guidance of Antonio Cortez and at the age of 13, he enrolled in the School of Plastic Arts at the Cultural Institute of Puerto Rico where he formally began his art studies.

Although his education is an ongoing process, he pursued university studies at the New School of Architecture in San Diego. It is there that he developed his skills working with renowned architects such as Rob Quigley and Teddy Cruz, among others. Later, he transferred to SciArc in Los Angeles, California, where he won the Lyceum Fellowship Competition, becoming the first Latino to win this award and with which he visited all of Latin America, changing his perspective forever.

Celso's work has been presented in Argentina, Brazil, Ecuador, Italy, France,
Taiwan, the United States, Mexico, and of course, Puerto Rico, among others.
Likewise, he has participated in multiple biennials, art fairs, museums, and
galleries. He has collaborated with globally recognized visual artists such as Bill Viola, Carlos Cruz Diez, Ted Carrasco and El Mac. He has also worked with musicians and artists such as Tego Calderon, Residente, Visitante, Robi Draco Rosa, Pirulo, Bon Jovi and Eladio Carrión.

"Ceremonia" is one of his most recent projects, located in Costa Palmas in La
Ribera, BCS in Mexico. It has won him various publications and recognition in
important media outlets worldwide.

Currently, he is working on one of his main projects: the Afro Corridor in Loíza, with which he intends to showcase Afro culture in all its different expressions.
All his projects are worked on through SIEMPRE Estudio Creativo, a company he leads along with a group of highly talented collaborators with the aim of creating innovative strategies and creative projects.
